NEW GLASGOW, N.S. – The top Peewee teams from across Atlantic Canada will square off in New Glasgow, N.S. this week with the Atlantic title up for grabs.

The 2019 Peewee AAA Atlantic Hockey Championship takes place from April 4-7, 2019 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre in New Glasgow, N.S.

This year’s event will feature the best Peewee clubs from the four Atlantic Canadian hockey branches including the Pictou County Crushers, the hosts of the tournament.

The teams that will be competing for regional gold also include:

  • Hockey New Brunswick: Fredericton Caps
  • Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador: St. John’s Hitmen
  • Hockey PEI: Kings County Kings
  • Hockey Nova Scotia: Bedford Blues

The tournament begins on Thursday, April 4 at 2 p.m. when the Nova Scotia champion Bedford Blues face Prince Edward Island’s Kings County Kings.

The tournament wraps up on Sunday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. when the top clubs from the event will hit the ice for the Atlantic crowd.
