The Hockey Canada #CenturyTour arrives in St. John’s on Sunday, September 28. The Century Tour caravan will be set up at the Sportsplex on Viking Road, next to the rugby pitches from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Tour will then head west and set up at the parking lot of the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 and Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. daily.

The Hockey Canada Century Tour which will feature a state-of-the-art interactive timeline of milestone hockey moments is on a national tour through Canada in celebration of Hockey Canada’s 100th Anniversary, visiting 100 communities, festivals and events. Kids, families, and newcomers to hockey can come out and enjoy the programs and activities offered by the Century Tour Caravan. Come out and enjoy a full interactive hockey experience complete with a TELUS Shoot to Score photo booth, inflatable ball hockey rink, Samsung tablets featuring hockey apps and the 100th Anniversary Hockey Canada Jersey which will be worn by national male, female and sledge hockey teams throughout the 2014-2015 season.

On Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Hockey Canada will present a Hockey NL recipient with the Canadian Tire Hero of Play Award. The award is given to an outstanding volunteer who has displayed a commitment to the values and objectives of Hockey Canada, Hockey NL and their local Minor Hockey Associations. There will be a second award presented in Corner Brook on Tuesday at 6:00 pm.
