The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has teamed up with the St. John’s Maple Leafs Major Midget Hockey Team to support 18 year old hockey player and Bishop’s Falls native Scottie Greene.  On September 14th Scottie was left in critical condition after the car he was travelling in hydroplaned, left the highway and hit a utility pole.  After undergoing emergency surgery to relieve swelling to his brain, Scottie has been kept in an induced coma and his status remains critical.  Scottie and his family have a very difficult journey ahead and they need our help.

This coming Saturday, October 1st the St. John’s Maple Leafs and the RNC will be holding a car wash in support of Scottie and his family.  The car wash will take place at the Irving Gas Station on Torbay Road at Pearson Street from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  All donations made to our car wash will go directly to Scottie and his family.

Your generosity and support will go a long way in helping Scottie and his family deal with the financial, emotional and physical challenges that lay ahead.

A Go Fund Me account has also been set-up to assist Scottie and his family during this difficult time.
