The Eastern Bantam Female AAA team defeated the host Western team in the Provincial Championship game by a score of 5 – 3.  The Eastern team overcame an early deficit to send their team to the Atlantic Bantam AAA Championship.

Eastern will now represent the branch at the AAA Female Bantam Atlantics, which is set to take place in Montague, PEI – March 27-30, 2014.   The tournament will feature the Bantam Champion from each of the Atlantic Provinces.

The Provincial Championship, which took place this past weekend in Stephenville, featured five teams from across the Province. (Eastern, Tri-Pen, Northern, Central and Host-Western).  Hockey NL would like to thank the organizing committee on delivering a first class event.
