Hockey NL Under 15 and Under 12  Female Provincial Championships are taking place this weekend from March 18-20, 2016.  In Corner Brook, an amazing twenty-two (22) teams throughout the province will compete in a mega tournament that is hosted by the Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association.  Some 300 plus young female players age 8-11 years old will converge in the western community to compete for five championship banners.  In Gander and Glovertown another twenty-two (22) teams and 300 players of females age 12-14 will compete in the Under 15 provincial tournament.   Teams will play in a preliminary round on Friday, with the banner round games being played on Saturday and Sunday.
