Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Risk

The user agrees that they have volunteered to participate in a program of physical exercise under the direction of Cross-Fit Body by Colleen which will include, but may not be limited to, weight and/or resistance training.

The user does here and forever release and discharge and hereby hold harmless Cross-Fit Body by Colleen and their respective agents, heirs, assigns, contractors, and employees from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, arising out of or connected with the users participation in this exercise program including any injuries resulting there from.

This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, injuries which may occur as a result of (1) equipment that may malfunction or break (2) any slip, fall, dropping of equipment and (3) our negligent instruction or supervision.

The user recognizes that exercise might be difficult and strenuous and that there could be dangers inherent in exercise for some individuals. The user acknowledges that the possibility of certain unusual physical changes during exercise does exist. These changes include abnormal blood pressure, fainting; disorders in heartbeat; heart attack; and in rare instances, death.

The user understands that as a result of their participation in an exercise program, they could suffer an injury or physical disorder that could result in my becoming partially or totally disabled and incapable of performing any gainful employment or having a normal social life.

The user recognizes that an examination by a physician should be obtained by all participants prior to involvement in any exercise program. The user agrees that if they have chosen not to obtain a physicians permission prior to beginning this exercise program, they agree that they are doing so at their own risk.

In any event the user acknowledges and agrees that they assume the risks associated with any and all activities and/or exercises in which they participate.

The user acknowledges and agrees that no warranties, or representations have been made to them regarding the results they may achieve from this program, and understand that results are individual and may vary.

Users have the right to terminate a particular exercise or workout at any time. You are in control of your workouts. If an exercise is uncomfortable or painful, or if you want to stop for any reason, you may do so. If a particular exercise is painful for you to do or you have an injury or other limitation that makes it difficult for you to do, you may contact the program coordinator for a substitute exercise.

Users are encouraged to drink plenty of water during the workout.

You will get from the workouts what you put in. You will be showed how to work your muscles correctly and encouraged to go to your safe limit, but whether you reach your goal is ultimately up to you. You are the only one who can make sure you work out consistently (missing workouts is a guarantee to get nowhere), eat properly, rest enough, and live a healthy lifestyle.
