On behalf of Hockey NL, we are pleased to announce that Daniel Courage, from Avalon Minor has been selected as one of Hockey NL’s Officials of the Month.  He was nominated by his Referee In Chief Mark Noseworthy who had great things to say about his work as an official.  As noted in his nomination package:

“Daniel is a second year level three official who has developed a lot in the last couple of years. His willingness to learn the game and make himself available to do games whenever he is needed, while balancing a full schedule at MUN, is true testament to his commitment and makes him a great asset to the AMHA. In a time where officials are stepping away from the game, Daniel continues to take on more games to gain exposure and develop his skills. At his current rate of development, we are confident he will grow into an accomplished official as he gains more experience.”
