The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts will play for the Allan Cup national championship Saturday in New Brunswick following a 5-2 semi- final win over the host Bouctouche, N.B. JCs last night.

The Cataracts will face the Lacombe Generals from Alberta for the 109th title, today  5 p.m. (NL time). The game will be broadcasted live on TSN 2.

Newfoundland has won two Allan championships, in 1986 by the Corner Brook Royals and 2011 by the Clarenville Caribous.  
 
Matt Bragg  and Brandon Bussey each scored twice for the central NL team, and defenceman Brandon Roach scored into an empty net in Friday night’s semi-final.
 
Bryan Gillis posted his third straight win in the tournament..
 
Lacombe beat Manitoba’s South East Prairie Thunder 8-4 in their semifinal game matchup.
