LIVERPOOL, N.S. – On Thursday, five teams from across our region will hit the ice in Liverpool, N.S. with an Atlantic title on the line.

The 2016 Atlantic Bantam Female Hockey Championship gets underway on Thursday, April 7 at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool, N.S. and runs until Sunday, April 10.

This year’s Atlantic championship is hosted by Nova Scotia’s Western Riptide. The Riptide will be joined by the following provincial champions:

  • Cole Harbour Wings (Hockey Nova Scotia)
  • Mid Isle Wildcats (Hockey PEI)
  • Moncton Rockets (Hockey New Brunswick)
  • Central Icepak (Hockey NL)

The action gets underway on Thursday at 2 p.m. AST when Nova Scotia’s Cole Harbour Wings take on Prince Edward Island’s Mid Isle Wildcats.

The tournament wraps up on Sunday when the top two teams face-off for gold in the championship game. The puck droops at 12 p.m. AST.
