Administrative Officer – Job Posting

Paradise Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce that they are recruiting for the newly created Administrative Officer position. This position reports directly to the President of the Executive Board. It is a part time position requiring a combination of day, evening, and weekend hours up to a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Job Description
 Process incoming/outgoing mail
 Maintain the weekly ice schedule.
 Handle all telephone and email inquiries.
 Maintain and update the website and twitter account as needed.
 Manage the registration of clinics and camps.
 Issue invoices as required.
 Process registration payments for general registration, All-Star fees, and tryout fees.
 Develop and maintain a Volunteer Coach database including training credentials, RNC Clearance, Board approval, and team assignments with all relevant dates.
 Process all travel request forms.
 Assist with tournaments as needed.
 Develop master email distribution list for the Association.
 Support Executive Board members as needed.
 Other general office duties as required.

Qualifications
 Experience working as an Administrative Officer in a busy environment under minimal supervision.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 Superior customer service skills with an ability to effectively communicate with the general public, parents, and youth.
 Experience with scheduling would be an asset.
 RNC Security Clearance.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
