The 2025 Royal Newfoundland Regiment High School Memorial Hockey Tournament Set for April 28 – May 4 in Paradise and St. John’s

St. John’s, NL – The 2025 Royal Newfoundland Regiment High School Memorial Hockey Tournament will take place from April 28 – May 4, 2025, in Paradise and St. John’s. This annual event will feature 16 boys teams and 16 girls teams from across Newfoundland and Labrador competing for the Beaumont-Hamel Cup and Beaumont-Hamel Centennial Cup. This year marks the first time Labrador teams will compete.

The tournament honors the memory of the fallen members of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment and is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, many of whom are retired from the Regiment. Tournament highlights include an opening ceremony with the Regimental Band, a skills competition, and Player of the Game presentations by serving Regimental soldiers.

Games will be live-streamed and broadcast on Rogers TV for free.
