2013 Bell Aliant Pee Wee AAA Atlantic Championships Set for Corner Brook, NL

Corner Brook, NL – The Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association in Newfoundland and Labrador will be host to the 2013 Bell Aliant Pee Wee AAA Hockey Atlantic Championships at the Pepsi Centre from March 21^st  – March 24^th, 2013.  This special event will feature the Bell Aliant Cup Pee Wee AAA Provincial Champion from each province plus a host team:

EDZA East – Hockey New Brunswick

Tricom Calco Homes Bulldogs- Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador

Truro Bearcats – Hockey Nova Scotia

Summerside Capitals – Hockey Prince Edward Island

Western Wolves – Host

The tournament hosts, Western Wolves, are looking forward to hosting this week’s event “ We are excited to be hosting the 2013 Bell Aliant AAA Atlantics. We look forward to seeing the best Pee Wee players in Atlantic Canada providing top-notch entertainment for our region. In addition to the hockey, we hope the visiting teams take the time to enjoy all the area has to offer” stated Ron Downey, Host Chair of 2013 Bell Aliant Pee Wee Atlantic Championships

Bell Aliant has been a proud sponsor of Pee Wee hockey in Atlantic Canada since 2005. This includes title support for five Pee Wee AAA hockey leagues and 20 Bell Aliant Cup Provincial Championship tournaments in all four Atlantic Provinces.

We had a great response from friends and family who couldn’t attend last year’s tournament but wanted to see the games.”

Games begin on Thursday, March 21^st at 2:00pm at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook, NL with the official opening ceremonies taking place that evening at 7:00pm when the Western Wolves see their first action against The Truro Bearcats from Hockey Nova Scotia.  The gold medal game is slated for Sunday, March 24^th at 11:00am.
