CBS, NL – The Conception Bay Regional Minor Hockey Association in Newfoundland and Labrador will be host to the 2017 Bell Aliant Pee Wee AAA Hockey Atlantic Championships at the new CBS Arenafrom April 6th – 9th, 2017. This special event will feature Pee Wee AAA Provincial Champions from each province plus a host team:

  • Riverview Blues – Hockey New Brunswick
  • St. John’s Hitmen- Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Pictou County Crushers – Hockey Nova Scotia
  • Charlottetown Abbies – Hockey Prince Edward Island
  • Tri-Com Thunder – Host

The Host Organizing Committee is eager for teams and fans to arrive. “We are excited to have Atlantic AAA hockey return to CBS Arena for the second year in a row. It’s the most thrilling brand of minor hockey you’ll find around on the East Coast. CBR Minor Hockey has partnered with the Town of CBS, Hockey NL, and the Tri-Com Thunder Hockey Club to develop an exciting entertainment package,” stated Tim Power, Host Chair. “Our slogan is ‘Pass Our Way’ and we certainly hope hockey fans and families take us up on our offer,” adds Power.

A ten-game round robin schedule begins on Thursday, April 6th at 1:30pm with the official opening ceremonies that evening at 6:30pm prior to the Tri-Com Thunder seeing their first action against the Pictou County Crushers. The gold medal game is slated for Sunday, April 9th at 12:00pm.
