PARADISE, NL — September 2026 — The Para Cup is coming back to Paradise, and organizers are calling on volunteers from across Newfoundland and Labrador to help make this international hockey event one to remember.

The 2026 Para Cup, taking place November 29 to December 5 at the Paradise Double Ice Complex, will bring some of the world’s best para hockey players to Newfoundland and Labrador, including Canada, China, Czechia and the United States. The tournament marks the return of the Para Cup to the province for the first time since 2019.

Now, organizers are looking for enthusiastic, community-minded volunteers to join the team behind the tournament.

Hosting an international event of this scale takes a community effort. Volunteers will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for athletes, coaches, officials, fans and visitors from around the world.

Opportunities are available in a variety of areas, including:
