Grand Falls Windsor Cataracts defeated the Corner Brook Royals 4-0 to take the opening game of the 2015 Herder Memorial Championship series brought to you by the Telegram  last night. Cam Fergus scored twice with Justin Barbour and Alex Dalley adding singles.  AJ Whiffin earned the shutout for the Cats while Bryan Gillis took the loss in goal for the Royals.  The Corner Brook Royals were awarded their third Telegram Trophy prior to the game one for having  the best winning percentage in the regular season.  Game 2 goes this afternoon  at the Civic Centre in Corner Brook.
