Coach Steph is a dedicated and experienced hockey coach currently serving as the Technical Director for the Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association and Head Coach of the U18AAA Central Western Female team. With over seven years of coaching experience, she has built a strong reputation for leadership, development, and commitment to growing the game at all levels.

Her coaching journey includes six seasons as an Assistant Coach in the Maritime Major Female U18AAA league, as well as roles with Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program — serving as an Assistant Coach for both the U18 and U16 female provincial teams, her last role was head coach for the U15A Rep team with CBMHA.

Steph is also the owner and operator of SEA4CE, a women’s Learn to Play program based in Nova Scotia. The program is designed to introduce and support women of all ages and skill levels in discovering or returning to the game of hockey in a fun, inclusive, and empowering environment.

Beyond the bench, Steph also spent four years contributing to the game’s safety and integrity through her work in Risk Management with Hockey Nova Scotia.

A proud product of the Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association, Stephanie played both regionally and provincially before joining the Canadian Forces (RCAF) where she played for the CF Women’s Base Team. After sustaining a traumatic brain injury during her playing career, she made the decision to stay connected to the sport through coaching — a path that quickly became a passion.

Steph brings a player & development-first mindset to every role she takes on. Whether she’s behind the bench, running a skills session, or helping a new player lace up for the first time, her commitment to hockey is unwavering — and deeply inspiring.

Stephanie is known for her dedication to player development, her strong communication and leadership skills, and her unwavering love for the game. Her story is one of resilience, growth, and giving back — inspiring the next generation of players both on and off the ice.
