This is Marissa’s 3rd season in the Hockey Canada Officials program. Last season Marissa opted to take only off ice assignments, through many conversations over the course of the summer and some persuading during the clinic this fall Marissa agreed to give the on ice assignments another try. Since then Marissa has been loving being back on the ice as a Linesperson, she takes all assignments given to her and even reaches out to ask for more assignments.

Recently during a U15 House League tournament in PAB Marissa’s U15 team did not make it to the Championship game, we were short officials for the Championship game and Marissa pulled on her officials gear to officiate as a 4-man crew for that game. Marissa was also a part of the all female on ice crew in PAB, which was a first for our association. Marissa is a great young official who loves the game and is very dependable when called upon. Great job and keep up the good work Marissa.
