In memory of Michelle Healey, one of Newfoundland and Labrador’s most passionate advocates for sport and well-being, the Provincial Government has established the Michelle Healey Memorial Award. This annual award, presented at the Premier’s Athletic Awards, will celebrate a female athlete who has not only excelled athletically but also shown a deep commitment to their community.

Award Highlights:

  • Open to female athletes enrolled in post-secondary institutions
  • Recognizes athletic success and community involvement
  • Includes a $5,000 bursary
  • Presented at the 2024 Premier’s Athletic Awards

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Achievements from the 2023 calendar year will be considered.
