“Blake has been officiating for 3 seasons and even after his first season quickly became a relied upon mentor for our new younger officials. Each season he completes close to 100 games for us , along with volunteering his time to mentor other officials in games he is not on. He is a strong linesperson and referee. He has a strong on ice presence and can always be heard communicating with the players. He has an in-depth knowledge of the rule book and is always asking tough questions about game situations that initiates a good discussion among senior and junior officials and timekeepers. He accepts every game he is available for whether it is u11 lines at 8am or u18 referee at 8pm. It is evident that Blake truly has a passion for officiating and will continue to advance his officiating career at a fast pace.”
