First Whistle Program – 2026–27 Season
Hockey Canada and FORCE are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the First Whistle Program. This initiative is designed to increase the registration of new officials by reducing cost barriers through the provision of jerseys to approved Minor Hockey Associations (MHAs).
Approved MHAs will receive jerseys that can be loaned to new officials for the season. At the conclusion of the season, MHAs will retain the jerseys for use with future officials. In addition, FORCE will replace jerseys that become damaged or unusable due to normal wear and tear.

Applications will remain open until March 31, 2026. Following the application deadline, Hockey Canada will verify submitted applications with Members prior to final selection.
