Frances taught for 30 years with the Roman Catholic School Board. She taught at St. Joseph’s, Mary Queen of Peace and St. Paul’s. During a 26 year period from 1976 to 2002, Frances Wiseman made valuable contributions and devoted plenty of time and effort to the betterment of hockey within Newfoundland and Labrador. This is especially true for minor and female hockey and the results of her work continue to assist the growth and improvement of hockey provincially. She was then inducted into the Hockey NL Hall of Fame in 2006. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of both the Emergency Room and 4SA at the Health Sciences Centre for your care and support. Cremation has taken place.
