2020 Male & Female Under 13 High Performance Program – Skills Development Camp
The goal of the camp is to expose and teach skill development to our Female & Male Under 13 players at the High Performance level, as well as prepare them off the ice through fitness (warm-up & cool down) and classroom settings. Players will learn of the expectations of the Hockey NL High Performance Program and the process of Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence. An on-ice emphasis will be put on ‘skill development’ to the specific player position. There will be no evaluations at this camp.
Purpose of camp:
To expose Male and Female Under 13 players to the High Performance Program both on and off the ice.
- Teams will be put together, consisting of 9 forwards – 6 Defence – 2 Goalies per team *
- Players & Goaltenders will have on-ice skills sessions during the first two days of camp, finishing with games on the final day.
- Goaltenders will have a minimum of 2 goalie only sessions
- Players will also have off-ice sessions in fitness and classroom settings

The camp is open to Female Under 13 players born in 2008 & 2009. The Male Under 13 camp is open to players born in 2008. Please ensure you sign up for the correct position per group. To sign up, please see the registration links below:

Hockey NL is excited to announce the return of the successful Under 13 High Performance Skills Development Camp. The Male and Female Under 13 camp will take place at the Paradise Double Ice Complex – May 8th – 10th. The Male Under 13 division will consist of 6 teams; 9 forwards, 6 defence and 2 goaltenders per team. The Female Under 13 division will consist of 4 teams; 9 forwards, 6 defence and 2 goaltenders per team.
The camp will again consist of on-ice skills sessions for players and goaltenders, on-ice Skating Combine followed by games on the final day. In addition to the on-ice sessions, players will also be exposed to off-ice fitness and classroom sessions. In addition to the on and off-ice sessions, players will receive;
Hockey NL jersey and sock set, as well as an HNL branded gift.
