Bantam Female Atlantic Results Day 3
COLE HARBOUR WINGS AND MID ISLE WILDCATS TO PLAY FOR GOLD ON SUNDAY AT 2016 ATLANTIC BANTAM FEMALE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP
LIVERPOOL, N.S. – The Cole Harbour Wings and Mid Isle Wildcats will play for gold tomorrow at the 2016 Atlantic Bantam Female Hockey Championship.
The Hockey Nova Scotia representatives topped Hockey NL’s Central Icepak 9-0 on the final day of round robin play to punch their ticket to the championship game while Mid Isle pulled off a 5-1 win over Central to qualify.
This will be the second meeting of the event for the two teams. Mid Isle defeated Cole Harbour 3-2 in the opening game of the tournament.
The championship game gets underway at 12 p.m. at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool, N.S. on Sunday.
The Central Icepak will take on Hockey New Brunswick’s Moncton Rockets for bronze at 10 a.m.
