BREAKERS GO UP TWO GAMES IN HERDER

Grand Falls-Windsor, NL – The Sothern Shore Breakers take a 2-0 series lead after besting the Clarenville Caribous 5-2 in game two of the 2022 Herder Memorial Championship on Saturday night at the Eastlink Event Centre. Jeremy Nicholas notched 2 goals for the Breakers in the decisive game 2 victory, which also included goals from Andrew Brennan, Brendan Houlihan, and an empty netter from Bobby Upshall to secure the win.
Scoring for the Caribous were Nick Abbott and Chad Earle.
Mark Yetman earned his second straight win in goal for the Breakers while A.J. Whiffen suffered the loss for the Caribous.
The best of seven series resumes next week, Wednesday April 20th, for game 3 at 7:30 pm in the Ken Williams Southern Shore Arena.
