Role Overview
 
The League Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Female AAA/AA Leagues, working under the direction of the Female Chair and in close collaboration with the Female Council.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate meetings on behalf of the Female Chair/Council (via Microsoft Teams).
  • Maintain and update the League’s website, including posting governing documents, schedules, and team information.
  • Develop and publish the League schedules.
  • Coordinate League awards, collect team nominations, determine award recipients, and manage trophy orders and updates.
  • Collaborate with Hockey NL to register players and coaching staff using the Hockey Canada online system.
  • Communicate and coordinate schedules to referees.
  • Monitor player attendance and report findings to the Female Council.
  • Maintain accurate records of suspensions using the Suspension Tracker, and notify teams promptly.
  • Track team fundraising activity and submit financial reports to Service NL.
  • Register the League annually with Hockey NL.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and quarterly financial reporting to the Female Chair and Female Council. The Administrator’s civic address will be the official address of the League.
  • Submit the League budget to the Female Chair and Female Council in preparation for the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • Manage and analyze feedback from League member surveys.
  • Operate and maintain the League’s Twitter and Microsoft Teams accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Female Chair or Female Council.
