The Central Midget AAA Female team has repeated as the provincial champ.  Central edged Western by a score of 4 – 2 in the Championship game on Sunday in Springdale.

Central will now represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2014 Midget AAA Female Atlantics in Deer Lake, NL from April 3-6, 2014.   The runner up team Western, are the host team for the Atlantic Championship.

The winner of the Atlantic Championship will earn a trip to the ESSO Cup (Hamilton, Ont.) the National Midget AAA Female Championship from April 20-27, 2014.

The Provincial Championship which was hosted by the Springdale Minor Hockey Association featured four teams; Eastern, Tri-Pen, Western and Central.
