5-YEAR NAMING RIGHTS COMMITMENT FOR THE CLARENVILLE CARIBOUS.

The Clarenville Caribous Senior Hockey Club are delighted to announce that Clarenville Ford has stepped forward and purchased the 5-year naming rights for the team. The sponsorship – effective immediately – will see the team name changed to the “Clarenville Ford Caribous”.

Clarenville Ford has been a major supporter of the Caribous since the team re-entered provincial senior hockey in 2006. Over the past decade, they have been a major corporate supporter of not only the Caribous, but numerous other youth and adult sport and community organizations, including the Eastlink Events Centre. This past March, Clarenville Ford were the major sponsor for the Boston Bruins Alumni game, and as a major supporter of the 2015 Allan Cup, they donated a Ford F150 4×4 to be used as a fundraiser for the national event!

Junior Peddle, Owner of Clarenville Ford, clearly believes in supporting the community and sees organizations such as the Caribous as important assets for the social and economic make-up of the Town and the region.

“Since day one, the Caribous have provided a social and entertainment package that is second to none in our region. Clarenville Ford recognizes the tremendous financial and volunteer commitment it takes to run this organization, and we wanted to step up to the plate and help ensure this tremendous product continues for years to come.”

Frazer Russell, past Chair of the Clarenville Caribous, was thrilled with this commitment from Clarenville Ford. “Junior Peddle, and his team at Clarenville Ford, have been outstanding supporters of our team. We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with them and ensuring the Caribous product – on and off the ice – provides tremendous value to Ford, and all of our sponsors and fans.”
