Congratulations to Coach Matthew Hackett – October Male Coach of the Month!

Hockey NL > Uncategorized > Congratulations to Coach Matthew Hackett – October Male Coach of the Month!

Congratulations to Matthew Hackett of Marystown Minor Hockey for being selected as Hockey NL’s Male Coach of the Month for October 2025.

A member from their association stated:

Coach Hackett exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding coach, mentor, and role model. He goes above and beyond to support his players on and off the ice, creating a positive, motivating environment where everyone feels valued. His dedication extends beyond his own team — volunteering with multiple divisions and community programs while teaching the importance of hard work, respect, and teamwork. Coach Hackett truly embodies what it means to be a Coach of the Month — and a coach for life.
