Corner Brook to Host 2013 Bell Aliant Pee Wee AAA Atlantic Championships
Corner Brook, NL – TheCorner BrookMinor Hockey Association will host the 2013 Bell Aliant Pee Wee AAA Atlantic Championships at the Pepsi Centre inCorner Brook. The March 21-24, 2013 championships will feature the Bell Aliant Cup Pee Wee AAA Champion from each Atlantic province, as well as the host team, Western AAA Peewee Wolves.
The event returns to Western Newfoundland afterSt. John’splayed host in 2009. Approximately 100 children ages 11-12 and will participate in the tournament. About 75 families will travel toCorner Brookto cheer on their sons and daughters.
“The Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association is honoured and excited to have been selected to host the 2013 tournament and is forming a committee to ensure event success,” said Ron Downey, tournament host chair. “Our fans will be thrilled with the calibre of hockey provided by the teams participating in this tournament.”
