EDZA WEST ALL-STARS WIN 2015 BELL ALIANT PEEWEE AAA ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIP
WOLFVILLE, N.S. – The EDZA West All-Stars are 2015 Bell Aliant Peewee AAA Atlantic champions.
The EDZA West All-Stars defeated the TASA Ducks 2-1 in Sunday’s Gold Medal Game to capture the Atlantic title at the Andrew H. McCain Arena in Wolfville. Sam Campbell and Peter Reynolds scored for EDZA West while Logan Carruthers answered for TASA. Ethan Pearson earned the victory in net for the Hockey New Brunswick representatives.
In the Bronze Medal Game, the host Acadia Axemen shut out the St. John’s Hitmen (Hockey Newfoundland) 2-0 to finish the tournament in third place. Cameron Gould earned the shutout between the pipes for Acadia.
