Grand Falls-Windsor, NL- The 2020 Midget, Bantam and Pee Wee AAA and Pee Wee AA Female Provincials are being held this weekend in three locations.  

The Midget championship, featuring the top 15, 16 and 17 year olds as well as the Bantam championship featuring the top 13 and 14 year old female players in the province, will be taking place in Gander and Glovertown this weekend.    There are four teams competing in both championships; Teams competing are Western Warriors, Central Ice Pak, Eastern Ice Breakers and Tri Pen Ice. 

The winner of the midget championship will claim the right to represent the province at the 2020 Midget Female Regional Championship being held this year in Summerside, PEI from April 2-5, 2020.  The winner of this event will represent the Atlantic region in the 2020 Esso Cup Midget Female Nationals being played Prince Albert, SK from April 19-25, 2020.

The winner of the bantam championships will claim the right to represent Hockey NL at the 2020 Bantam AAA Female Atlantic Championship being held this year in New Glasgow, NS from April 2-5, 2020.

In Corner Brook, the 2020 Pee AAA/AA Female Provincials are being held beginning on Friday.  The championship features the top 11 and 12 year old female players in the province.  Teams competing are Western Warriors, Central Ice Pak, Eastern Ice Breakers and Tri Pen Ice.
