Hockey NL is accepting nominations for its Hockey Hall of Fame.  The Hockey Hall of Fame was established to honor and pay tribute to individuals, groups, associations, families or teams who have achieved outstanding and extraordinary success while demonstrating exemplary values and/or personal characteristics and made a defining contribution in the advancement of amateur or professional hockey.
Nominations are accepted in the following categories:
1.  Player                  2.  Builder                 3. Media                 4. Official (New Category)
Note: The “Official” category is a new addition for this nomination cycle, recognizing referees, linespersons, and other officials who have made exceptional contributions to the game.

The provincial organization encourages membership associations, leagues, and teams to consider an internal process to identify a candidate (s) from your community who is worthy of consideration of Hall of Fame distinction.
Nominations for the 2026 Annual Induction, which is set for June 13, 2026, will close on March 15, 2026.
Hockey NL Hall of Fame Selection Chair, Arnold Kelly, is hoping for some new nominations this year. “Our committee is asking the hockey community to take some time and reflect on the individuals in your area that have made significant contributions to hockey both on or off the ice.   There are numerous people in our province that our worthy of this pinnacle of recognition and all they need is for someone to take the initiative and submit a nomination”, remarked Kelly.
