Darryl has been actively coaching for 3+ years with Goulds Minor Hockey.

“Darryl makes an extra effort to teach the kids skills they need to play hockey. He demonstrates how to do certain skills that are needed to play hockey and takes extra time with the kids that need it. He also makes the kids feel really proud of their accomplishments. As a parent of a child with special needs, he takes the time to help anyone who may need it and spends hours at the rink helping out in any way he can. Darryl always ensures everyone is included and nobody is left out. He even attends if his children are unable to make it to a game or practice. As a parent, I can see strong leadership skills in Darryl and the kids really look up to him.”

Darryl will receive a coaching package from Hockey NL for his efforts, including: Hockey NL CCM coach bag, 3M Tape Tiger, FOX 40 whistle, Bauer polo shirt and other various items.
