Congratulations to Chesley Evans of Makkovik Minor Hockey for being selected as HNL’s Coach of the Month for February 2024.

A member from Chesley’s association stated:

 “Chesley Evans is a volunteer coach with Makkovik Minor Hockey, Under the Torngat Mountains Division. This 2023-2024 season has shown its challenges as many of our coaching and assistant coaching volunteers are out this season for personal reasons or injury. Ches is currently coaching all of the minor hockey groups as the head coach: U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U18. Makkovik minor hockey is extremely grateful for his volunteer efforts on and off the ice.”
