On behalf of Hockey NL Referee-In-Chief, Ed Flood I am pleased to announce that Liam Picco of the Avalon Celtics Minor Hockey Association is selected as one of our Recipients for the HNL Official of the Month Program for December.  He was nominated by his Referee-in-Chief Mark Noseworthy who had great things to say about the work that he is doing with the Hockey Canada Officiating Program.

Below is a sample of the comments that were made as a part of your nomination:

”  Liam has come a long way in a few short years. He is a new level three this season and has a strong presence on the ice and accepts feedback well. He shows good judgment as a referee and understands the game fairly well for a young official.” Mark Nosewrothy, Avalon Celtics Referee In Chief.
