Re:   January 10 Deadline – Team Registration

The following is a reminder to all that January 10 is the deadline for teams to be formed and registered.  If the teams you have currently filed on line are not the teams taking part in the Provincial Tournament then you must create the necessary teams, adding each player and staff member by January 10.  This is a very important date to ensure that players from your association that are not named on provincial team rosters, have the ability to register with teams that don’t have the sufficient number of players to participate in provincial championships.  The minimum number of players for a team is 11, at least one of whom must be a goaltender and a maximum number of players for a team is 19, at least two of whom must be a goaltender.

A player may not be released after January 10^th to make room for registering another player, and a player released after January 10^th may not register with another team for that season.

Although the deadline for final registration of players is February 10^th, a player is not eligible to play any game until they are registered and a team which does not submit its list of registered players on or before January 10^th shall be ineligible for further competition.
