KidSport and Hyundai Auto Canada have teamed-up for the third year of Hyundai Hockey Helpers, a community-based program designed to help under-resourced Canadian children play hockey. In the past two years, the program has helped nearly 5,000 kids play organized hockey across Canada.

This year, we are dedicated to helping at least 2,000 more kids get in the game, including over 80 kids in Newfoundland and Labrador. To realize this goal, we need your help! We are looking for local hockey heroes from your association, including, but not limited to: coaches, volunteers, parents, board of directors, local rink supervisors, etc., who have demonstrated a lasting commitment to hockey.

KidSport intends to share these stories on social media to inspire others to give back to the game that we all love. This is a great opportunity to publicly recognize someone in your association who has demonstrated tremendous commitment to hockey.

If you know of someone who may fit this profile and who is willing to share their hockey story to help more kids get in the game, please contact Rosie Stead at [email protected]or 579-5977.
