Sport Newfoundland and Labrador has officially opened nominations for their 2024 Annual Awards Program, celebrating exceptional sporting achievements and contributions across the province.

What’s New for 2024?
Sport NL has introduced six new categories to recognize even more outstanding talent:
✨ Senior Male Team of the Year
✨ Senior Female Team of the Year
✨ Youth Male Team of the Year
✨ Youth Female Team of the Year
✨ Youth Official of the Year
✨ Rising Star Coach of the Year

These updates allow them to better highlight diverse team excellence and honor emerging young leaders in officiating and coaching.

Returning Categories:
Senior & Junior Male and Female Athletes of the Year
Male & Female Coach of the Year
Executive of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Official of the Year

How to Nominate:
Each Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) may submit one nomination per category for achievements in 2024. If your team, association, or league has a worthy candidate, please email their name and details to thobbs@hockeynl.ca by Friday, January 31, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
