Hockey NL would like to congratulate Declan Flynn of Conception Bay Regional on being selected as Official of the Month.

Declan was nominated by his Local Referee in Chief Tony Cronin who had great things to say about his work.

“Declan, as a second year official, is far and above exceeded my expectations. Last season in his first year he officiated in U 13 AAA Provincials. This season he started refereeing and has progressed to refereeing 4 Official system at the U 15 A division. Declan is very interested in learning and always asking questions to improve his on ice performance. Declan is always on time and there to pick up any extra assignments. To say that I am very impressed with his confidence and team work on the ice, is an understatement. I hope he continues down the officiating path as I feel he will be a great asset in the future.”  Tony Cronin, CBRORA Referee in Chief.
