Hockey NL would like to congratulate Maddie Hearn of Corner Brook on being selected as Official of the Month.

Maddie was nominated by her Local Referee in Chief Bobby Edwards who had great things to say about her work.

“Maddie Hearn is a Grade 8 Level One official and is in her second year as an on-ice official. She continues to demonstrate a strong work ethic by observing, listening, and absorbing advice from senior officials at an impressive rate. Maddie has shown continued improvement in her positioning and procedures and carries herself in a professional manner on the ice. Congratulations on this monthly recognition, and remember that your presence as a young referee is always appreciated. We hope that more of your peers follow your path and become leaders within the sport as well.”
