RE: Officiating Survey 2024
In December 2023, Hockey NL formed an independent Officiating Review Committee to undertake the task of reviewing several components of the program including but not limited to the operations, policies and procedures of the officiating program for Hockey NL.
The goal is to have a program that provides officials with strong technical, team and professional skills, which affords officials to not only participate, but also to develop and grow at the provincial, national, and international stages.
To get a broad understanding of what is working well and what challenges currently exist, the committee is looking to receive feedback on ways to improve the Hockey NL officiating program. The committee is currently seeking feedback from the following demographics:
- Level 1 & 2 registered officials
- Level 3, Member HP and National HP registered officials.
- Minor Hockey Association Executive members and Referee-in-Chiefs
Below are links to three surveys associated with your current role within your association and/or the Hockey NL officiating program. The committee is seeking feedback in your respective area. The survey will close on April 19, 2024 @ 7:00 pm.
You are encouraged to circulate the surveys to members of your association executive, Referee-in-Chiefs, and registered officials. A wide distribution of the surveys will give the review committee a better understanding of potential opportunities for improvement and growth within the Hockey NL officiating program.
