It is with great sadness that Hockey NL announces the passing of the late Val Slaney. Val passed away Sunday, October 22 at the Carbonear General Hospital at the age of 66. Val was past president of the Cee Bees Minor Hockey Association and a member of the Cee Bee Stars.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SLADE’S FUNERAL HOME, CRANES ROAD, UPPER ISLAND COVE, on Monday: 7-9 P.M. and Tuesday: 10:30 A.M. – 12 Noon, 2-5 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove.
