Rocky Harbour  – The St. John’s Ice Breakers shutout the Tri Pen Ice by a score of 5-0 to claim the 2014 Irving Oil Bantam AAA Provincial Championship.  Matthew McKim led the provincial champs with three goals with singles from Joel Bishop and Ian Smallwood.

St. John’s had a perfect record of four wins and zero loses during round robin play. With the victory St. John’s will now represent Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador at the Irving Oil Bantam Atlantic Challenge Cup in Mount Pearl, NL from April 3-6, 2014.

Hockey NL would like to thank the organizing committee for their hard work towards making this event successful and Irving Oil for their continued dedication and support. The following five teams competed for the Provincial crown (Tri Pen Ice, Western, Central Icepak, St. John’s Ice Breakers and Tri Com Thunder).
