STAGE IS SET FOR THE 2015 MAJOR MIDGET ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Charlottetown, PE – After a long season and a lot of preparation, the stage is set for the 2015 Major Midget Atlantic Championships. The Kensington Wild will play host to the region at the Kensington Community Gardens from April 2-5th, 2015.

The championship will crown the top Major Midget team from the region who will represent the Atlantic Canada at the 2015 Telus Cup National Midget Hockey Championships April 20-26 in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec.

Joining the host team Kensington Wild representing PEI is the Charlottetown Islanders who defeated Kensington in six games to capture the PEI Major Midget title.

Joining the Wild and Islanders are:

Moncton Flyers (Hockey NB)
Newbridge Academy Gladiators (Hockey NS)
St. John’s Maple Leafs (Hockey NL)
Charlottetown Islanders (Hockey PEI)
Kensington Wild (Host)

Beginning on Thursday, there will be 10 round robin games, followed by the Championship Game on Sunday April 5th at 1:00 pm. The official opening ceremonies will be Thursday at 7:30 pm.
