After a long season and a lot of preparation, the stage is set for the 2016 Bell Aliant Pee Wee AAA Atlantic Championships.  The Charlottetown Abbies will play host to the region at the MacLauchlan Arena (CARI Complex) April 7-10, 2016.

The championship will crown the top Pee Wee AAA team in Atlantic Canada.

Joining the host team Charlottetown Abbies representing PEI is the Mid Isle Matrix who defeated the Abbies in the Provincial final to capture the Island title.

The following teams will represent their respective branches:

  • Fredericton Express (Hockey NB)
  • East Hants Penguins (Hockey NS)
  • St John’s Hitmen (Hockey NL)
  • Mid Isle Matrix (Hockey PEI)
  • Charlottetown Abbies (Host)

Beginning on Thursday, there will be 10 round robin games, followed by a Bronze medal game and the Championship game on Sunday April 10th at 1:00 pm.  The official opening ceremonies will be Thursday at 6:30 pm.
