For the second night in a row, Team Atlantic lost a hard fought game to a tough opponent at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sydney.

Team USA topped Atlantic 9-1 at Centre 200 this evening in front of the home crowd.

Colin White had a goal and three assists for the Americans. Jeremy Bracco found the back of the net twice.

Kyle Ward (Sackville, NB/Moncton, NBPEIMMHL), the player of the game for Atlantic, was the team’s lone goal scorer. He potted Atlantic’s first goal four minutes into the third period to make it 6-1. Alexandre Jacob (Dieppe, NB/Moncton, NBPEIMMHL) and Adam Holwell (St. John’s, NL/Moncton, QMJHL) picked up the helpers on the goal.

The US outshot Team Atlantic 55-21. Frederic Foulem (Dieppe, NB/Stanstead College, Cdn. Prep) made 46 saves in the Atlantic net.

Team Atlantic is back in action tomorrow when they face Germany at 2 P.M. at Centre 200 in Sydney.
