More information QMJHL Excellence Challenge:
The QMJHL Excellence Challenge has replaced the QMJHL CSR for the past four seasons, and will be viewed by QMJHL scouts as a signature event leading up to the 2017 Draft. The event will also be used as a gateway into Hockey Canada’s National Under 17 program. Hockey Canada scouting staff will be on site to scout players for the National U17 summer camp. The Under 17 program invites 108 players to a July summer camp. From the summer camp 66 players will be selected to form 3 National teams that will compete at the World Under 17 Challenge in the fall of 2017.
