The best Atlantic Canadian Bantam AAA Hockey Teams to Square off this Weekend for the Irving Oil Challenge Cup
Hockey Sportscaster Ron MacLean set to welcome players to Moncton Wednesday night
Moncton (NB) – With the Provincial Championships complete in the Atlantic Provinces the Irving Oil Challenge Cup is set to take place this Thursday April 7-10 at the Kay Arena in Moncton, NB.
The event will host the top Bantam AAA teams from Atlantic Canada as they compete for a chance to hoist the Irving Oil Cup and become the Atlantic Champions. Players will be welcomed to Moncton Wednesday night by hockey sportscasting legend Ron MacLean with round robin action beginning Thursday afternoon at 1:00 pm. The tournament will run all weekend, finishing up on Sunday with the Championship game at 12:00pm. Official Opening Ceremonies will take place at the Kay Arena Thursday evening at 7:30 pm.
Joining the host Moncton Irving Oil Hawks at this year’s Irving Oil Challenge Cup will be the following Provincial Champions:
- KV Irving Oil Kings (Hockey NB)
- Prince County Irving Oil Warriors (Hockey PEI)
- Landworks Irving Oil Gulls (Hockey NS)
- St. John’s Irving Oil Hitmen (Hockey NL)
