Grand Falls-Windsor, NL- The TriCom Thunder are the U15 AAA Provincial champions after defeating the St. John’s Hitmen in a thrilling 1-0 fashion. The Thunder took the lead in the second period thanks to the lone goal scorer of the game, Ty Peddigrew, and managed to hold onto that lead throughout the rest of the game. The finals featured some phenomenal goalkeeping from both sides, with goaltender William Morgan recording a shutout win for the Thunder.

 

The Thunder will now represent the province and attend the U15 Atlantic AAA Regional Championship being held this year in Quispamsis, NB from May 5th-8th, 2022.
