The Western Crushers defeated the Central Thunder in a tight 3-1 final to win the U18 AAA Provincial Championship held in Lewisporte. The Crushers were held scoreless through the first 2 periods of play before rallying to score 3 unanswered goals in the third period to edge out the Thunder in a highly defensive championship game.
